It's only 4 weeks until our summer gathering in The Peak District (Saturday 17th June). The plan is to go climbing (or cycling or walking if you prefer) on Saturday during the day. Then head to Graham and Yvonne's house near Bamford in the late afternoon for a BBQ with the option to stay-over for those that want to make a weekend of it. We are welcoming prospective members to join us on the weekend of 20th/21st May for a bouldering meet based out of our club hut in North Wales. We'll make sure there are plenty of pads available and this is an ideal opportunity for those who want to enjoy some outdoor bouldering and find out more about the club. We are restarting our annual alpine meet with a trip to the Ecrins (France) staying at the Camping d'Ailefroide where you can easily reach a variety of single and multi-pitch adventures without even needing to get in the car. Of course if you do get in the car there are even more climbing venues with in easy reach for sport and trad climbing, plus excellent via ferratas. Excellent walking is of course all around you and there is classic road cycling too if that's your flavour of fun.
