Bowline AGM

This year’s Bowline Climbing Club AGM will take place on Wednesday 19th March at 19:30, via Zoom video call. We'd love to see as many Bowliners as possible there - the AGM is crucial to the running of your club, and helps define the next year of the club. 

Please make sure you read the proposed changes to next years membership fee's in the AGM agenda, as there are several changes suggested. 

BMC Midlands area meeting and Mick Fowler talk

The BMC Midlands area meeting is coming to Leicester on 7th February. Come along and get involved in the conversation on local access. Stay for the talk by the one and only Mick Fowler.

Get ready for the 37th Charnwood Hills Race

The race committee have begun preparations for the 2025 Charnwood Hills Race which will be held on Sunday 2nd February 2025.

This is a FELL RACE under Fell Runners Association (FRA) rules. The course is approximately 14.5 miles long and follows public footpaths and open country involving over 1,500 feet of ascent through Bradgate, Broombriggs and Beacon Hill Country Parks.

Entries are on a first come first served basis, entries will open at 8pm on Sunday 10th November on EntryCentral. Entries sell out very fast (usually within 1 hour) so we strongly recommend creating an account with EntryCentral in advance. Entries are expected to sell out very quickly so we recommend setting up an account on EntryCentral before entries open. Please read the race prospectus (PDF download) before entering the race. Upon successful entry to the race the fee of £18 will taken from your debit/credit card.
