Hi all, if the weather stays OK we are planning to meet at Croft Hill for a short walk and then go to the top of the Hill and have a picnic there on Wednesday 29th June.
Meet at the bottom of the Hill about 7 p.m. The best place to park is on the road coming out of Huncote (in South West direction) opposite a set of metal gates (GRID REF 513973). There‘s limited space to pull off here or park in Huncote itself. We‘ll then walk around the bottom of the hill, probably back to the cars, get whatever food people have brought and then aim to get to the top of Croft Hill for 8 p.m. Bring you own food and drinks.
Afterwards we can go for a drink in the Heathcote Arms or Andy Root has kindly offered to have people back to his place.
It‘s all supposed to be very informal. But I’m sure you can find us on the top of the hill at 8 p.m.
Because, the weather is looking a bit iffy on Wednesday we will give the GO/NO GO, or just to go the pub instead!
