From 27th May to 31st May we are returning to Northumberland for long weekend of climbing, bouldering, playing on the beach, etc. Northumberland is a hidden gem with some great crags offering a huge range of options for trad climbing and bouldering. Nearby to our campsite are moorland grit crags including Callerhues, Simonside, Great Whanney, Ravensheugh, Rothley and Shaftoe.  The classic sandstone venues such as Bowden and Back Bowden are also accessible for those willing to drive a little further.

Our base for this meet is the Ravenscleugh B&B’s Private Campsite. This is a private campsite, so our group should be the only ones there. The campsite is located in a dark skies park with access to a wild swimming pond (bring your swimming gear). We will have shared access to a bathroom and shower downstairs in the house. Cost is £48 per person for four nights of camping or you can book yourself into the B&B. Please note it is a short walk to the camping and we cannot take vans into the camping area. There may be the option for one or two small vans parked near the house (please check with Tony Bishopp if you plan to bring a van).

Places are limited for this trip so you need to RSVP here on the website and then confirm your booking by paying for your camping places in advance. Only places which have been paid for will be reserved.

This is a family friendly meet so there will be members children present.
