We are hoping lots of club members will be heading to the club hut this year so we want to get everything in top condition. We need club members to come and lend a hand on what will be a fun and friendly weekend with experienced club members present who know the hut and what needs doing. Anyone can help out as there is always a variety of jobs to do. If you can make it then book your place at the hut via the hut booking secretary as normal - hutbookings@bowlineclimbingclub.co.uk.

On this special weekend you get to stay at the hut for free on Friday and Saturday nights in return for spending one whole day working on the hut (either the Saturday or the Sunday). Whichever day you are not working on the hut you can enjoy yourself climbing, walking, cycling or just chilling out (or doing more jobs if you're really keen)!.

There are plenty of different jobs to do at the hut and no special skills are required to help out. Although if you do have a particular talent in something like Plumbing, Electrics, Woodwork, etc I'm sure we can put your skills to good use.

We plan to give the hut a deep clean on the inside. Outside we'll make sure everything is tidy and trimmed, drainage channels clear, etc. There may also be repairs and project work to be done, more details nearer the time.

You'll need to bring your own food/drink for the weekend. And don't forget the usual stuff for staying at the hut (i.e. sleeping bag, pillow case, etc). Please bring with you suitable clothing for doing mucky work (possibly in the cold and wet). Don't forget to book your place via the the hut booking secretary - hutbookings@bowlineclimbingclub.co.uk.
