The 2026 Winter Meet will be at the SMC Raeburn Hut near Dalwhinnie/Laggan from the 22nd to 28th Feb 2026.

The cost is £140 a head and there are 12 places available. Dalwhinnie is located about 25 miles South West of Aviemore on the A9, the hut is located on the A889 5 miles North West of Dalwhinnie.

It's location means that the Cairngorm Northern corries are still accessible, but the more central peaks, such as Craig Meagaidh now become more accessible.

Because of the hut's location use of Camper Vans is not permitted, parking is on a layby on the adjacent A road (A889). The Hut has its own water supply and due to changes in water regs (not the water supply) the Club owners have had to issue an advisory note, as it contains raised levels of manganese.
