An extra long bank holiday weekend is the perfect excuse to head to Cornwall for climbing, chilling and cream teas. We are heading to our regular haunt at Kelynack Camping and Caravan site which is ideally situated for access to all the main climbing areas. The campsite currently has space for tents over the jubilee weekend and limited space for campervans too. The campsite is likely to get booked up soon so we strongly recommend you book your places soon to avoid missing out. 

You will need to book your place directly with the campsite by giving them a call on 01736 787633 (make sure to tell them you are with the Bowline Climbing Club and they will allocate you a pitch so that we are all camped up together). The prices are : £9.00 per adult, £4.50 per child (11yrs and under) per night and the under 3’s are free. If you require an electrical hook up, the charge is £5.00 per night. Dogs are £2.00 each per night. Extra vehicles are £1.00 per night. Dogs are welcome provided they are kept on a lead. Please note this is a 'family friendly' meet so there maybe club members with their children camping on site.

Given the distance to Cornwall and the current fuel prices it makes sense to share lifts. Nearer the time if you are offering lifts or looking for a lift contact Andy Potter and we'll try spread the word to those attending. You might also wish to share tents and food/catering arrangements. You'll need to bring your own food and equipment for cooking (unless you plan to eat out, in which case make sure you book well in advance).
