Chairmans walk and lunch

Sunday, 3rd December 2017 at 10am

Location: The Peak District

This event is in the past.

We are going to enjoy another great walk in the Peak District for this years Chairman's Walk. We'll be meeting at the Heatherdene car park by the LadyBower reservoir for a 10am sharp departure. Please note there is a small charge for parking. It's a circular walk and once back at the cars we can put on dry feet and it's a five minute drive to the Anglers Rest in Bamford.

For those that would like to join us for lunch at the Anglers Rest you'll need to book and pay in advance by the 24th November at the latest. Lunch will be a two course menu costing £17.75 a head. Choices for the main are turkey and all the trimmings, or vegetable wellington with brie, cranberry and mushroom and all the trimmings. Choices for pudding are christmas pudding with brandy sauce, or spiced stewed fruit with chantilly cream and shortbread. Get your places booked now by clicking on the 'Buy Tickets' button above. Please only book one place at a time as we need your menu choices individually.

As the car park is a Pay and Display it makes sense to share lifts so if you are driving and can offer others a lift let us know and we can spread the word. Make sure you arrive in good time to get parked and ready to walk for 10am.

Sorry I only read instructions after I'd booked 2 places....!

But fear not Rich will eat the same choices as me... so 2 of each will be fine hope that's not too confusing

Hi, looking forward to this and hopefully I will be bringing Spikey Andy as he is partial to a pretty walk! The mystery is unsettling him (poor chap doesn't like surprises) but once we have a rendezvous point and he can look at maps of the general area he might be convinced to challenge his fear of the unknown!
