This event is in the past.
Somewhere a bit different for our Whitsun bank holiday meet. We're heading a little bit off the beaten track in search of some climbing gems amongst the moors of Northumberland. Our base for this trip is Budle Bay Campsite just 2 miles inland from the coast near Bamburgh. Well located for some of the classic climbing and bouldering venues including Bowden Doors and Kyloe crags, see the Northumberland Climbing Guide for more details.
We have Bunkhouse number 2 booked for club members to use which has 12 beds, fully fitted kitchen, gas hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, pots and pans, cutlery and crockery. You'll need to bring your own sleeping bag and pillow plus your own food as we're not planning any group meals for this trip. You can book your place in the Bunk House using the 'Buy Tickets' button above, it's £31 for the three nights. We have the bunkhouse from 2pm on Friday until 10am on Monday.
If there is no space left in the Bunk House you can still join us by bringing your tent (or campervan/caravan) and booking a place at the campsite (it's definitely worth booking ahead being a bank holiday weekend).
Please note that this is one of our family friendly meets for the year and there will be some club members staying in the Bunk House with their children. All the children will be in a seperate bedroom.
